  • Suspension Bills: Today, the House will consider several bills on the Suspension calendar.  Bills considered on the Suspension calendar are debatable for 40 minutes; may not be amended; and require a two-thirds vote for passage.  If a recorded vote is requested, it will be postponed.
    1. H.R. 521 - To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 2633 11th Street in Rock Island, Illinois, as the "Lane Evans Post Office Building" (Rep. Hare – Oversight and Government Reform)

    2. H.R. 49 - To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service Located at 1300 North Frontage Road West in Vail, Colorado, as the "Gerald R. Ford, Jr. Post Office Building" (Rep. Udall (CO) – Oversight and Government Reform)
